Friday 1/31/2020. Today I say farewell to my colleagues at Bridgewater State University and my role as a project manager in the IT Department. The position has definitely been an enjoyable one and fulfilling in many ways as I can witness my contribution to our students. I have enjoyed serving on a vibrant and energetic campus, filled with students that have a hunger for knowledge.
So as I close that door, I open a new door that will lead me to more travelling, more photography and more opportunities to volunteer in causes of social justice, the environment and conservation, and human rights - areas that are so critical especially in this country. Conservation land is slowly being eroded by the current government as they make way for drilling and development with scant regard for conserving nature and natural resources. We need to leave generations to come a legacy that they can be proud of and not devastation and lands ravaged through greed. Global warming is real and evident. I hope that I will be able to find a way to integrate my photography to such causes.
